Facebook, Instagram, Ads, WhatsApp — one place

AdsUp uses the Meta Graph, Marketing, and WhatsApp Business Platform APIs to help small and medium-sized businesses manage their own Facebook Pages, publish to Instagram, run Meta Ads, and send templated WhatsApp business messages — all on behalf of the authenticated business owner.

Adsup Pro LLC (Wyoming, USA) is the data controller and operates this integration under the Meta Platform Terms and the Meta Tech Provider Agreement.

AdsUp helps small and medium-sized business owners manage their own Facebook Pages — publishing posts, reading engagement, and answering inbound customer messages.

pages_show_list
Show the user the list of Pages they manage so they can pick which Page to connect to AdsUp.
pages_read_engagement
Help the Page admin see how their Page is performing — followers, reach, post insights — inside the AdsUp dashboard.
pages_manage_posts
Create and delete content on the user’s own Page on the user’s explicit instruction (publish-now and scheduled posts).
pages_manage_metadata
Subscribe the user’s Page to the webhook so AdsUp can deliver inbound customer messages to the dashboard.
pages_read_user_content
Read comments and user-generated content on the Page so the admin can moderate from AdsUp.
pages_messaging
Reply to user-initiated customer-support conversations in Messenger on behalf of the Page admin (24-hour standard messaging window).
Instagram (Business / Creator)

Instagram (Business / Creator)

AdsUp publishes the business owner’s own content to their connected Instagram Business or Creator account and surfaces insights inside the dashboard.

Read basic profile metadata (username, account ID) of the Instagram Business account connected through the linked Facebook Page.

Publish photos, carousels, videos, Reels, and Stories to the user’s Instagram Business account — only on explicit user instruction (publish-now or scheduled).
instagram_manage_comments
Let the account admin read, reply to, and delete comments on their own Instagram posts from inside AdsUp.
instagram_manage_insights
Display reach, impressions, profile visits, and Story insights for the connected Instagram Business account.
instagram_manage_messages
Reply to user-initiated DMs on Instagram on behalf of the Page admin (24-hour standard messaging window).

AdsUp helps SMBs create and manage their own Meta ad campaigns — selecting objectives, defining audiences, building creative, and reading performance.

ads_management
Create, edit, pause, and resume campaigns, ad sets, and ads on the user’s own ad account. Access tier is governed by the Marketing API Access framework (Limited → Full Access auto-graduation based on API call volume and error rate; see Meta blog 2026-05-04).
ads_read
Read ad performance metrics from the Ads Insights API to display reporting inside the AdsUp dashboard.
business_management
Read the Business Manager assets the user owns so AdsUp can list which ad accounts and Pages are available to connect.
WhatsApp Business

WhatsApp Business

AdsUp uses the WhatsApp Business Platform to deliver templated transactional messages and to help the business respond to user-initiated customer-service conversations. AdsUp does not run open-ended AI chatbots on WhatsApp Business.

whatsapp_business_management
Manage the user’s own WhatsApp Business assets — display business profile, message-template status, and analytics inside the AdsUp dashboard.
whatsapp_business_messaging
Send approved business message templates (order confirmations, shipping updates, appointment reminders) and reply to user-initiated customer-service conversations within the 24-hour window. Recipients must have given explicit opt-in to receive WhatsApp messages from the business.

WhatsApp use is transactional and human-in-the-loop

AdsUp does not operate open-ended AI chatbots on the WhatsApp Business Platform. WhatsApp messaging through AdsUp is limited to:

  • Approved business message templates (order confirmation, shipping update, appointment reminder, account alert).
  • Human-supervised replies inside the 24-hour customer-service window, initiated by an inbound user message.
  • Explicit opt-in collected from the recipient before any business-initiated message is sent.

This complies with Meta’s January 2026 guidance prohibiting open-ended AI chat on the WhatsApp Business Platform.

Data handling

How AdsUp stores and protects Meta data

OAuth tokens encrypted at rest

Page access tokens and long-lived user tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and decrypted only in-process at request time.

Scoped to the user’s own assets

AdsUp only reads and writes data for the Pages, Instagram accounts, ad accounts, and WhatsApp Business numbers the user has explicitly connected.

Disconnect & deletion

Users may disconnect any Meta asset from the Connections page or request full account deletion at /data-deletion. Tokens are revoked with Meta and the encrypted token row is removed within 7 days.
